Farmer George is family owned and operated and since 2010 George himself has been supplying quality farm fresh lamb from our family farm in Mudgee to homes across NSW.

 

The Farmer George story began when George Hamilton kept getting calls from his city friends complaining of the lack of quality fresh lamb available in the supermarkets. George had the lambs in the paddock, so decided to give it a go, and started delivering his lamb cryovac packed to Sydney-siders under the name Farmer George - and the rest, as they say, is history!

For us, it's all about raising happy, healthy lambs, whilst maintaining and improving the natural resources of our land through holistic management.

Please note, from 2024, Farmer George has kicked off the boots and now enjoying some time off the paddock-to-plate business and as such is no longer delivering lamb. Sorry for any inconvenience.
